I was driving around Tuscany for some venue inspections when the phone rang and a young voice told me: I’m looking for a wedding planner to organize my Tuscan castle wedding next year, are you available? We were! In the blink of an eye we started sharing ideas and quotes, ready to meet Zayna & Patrick for a three-day full immersion.
Zayna and Patrick organized a long weekend wedding for their guests coming from the UK. The venue, a Castle nestled in the hart of the Chianti wine region, hosted the most of the wedding party. With its rooms, flats and farmhouses it offered to everybody the right accommodation. The weekend started with a wine tasting and visit at the cellars, followed by an informal pizza party at the BBQ area between the trees. To greet everybody after the wedding night, what’s better than a pool party? Beer, sandwiches, pool floats and music.
In between the wedding, literally a fairytale. The protestant and legally binding ceremony took place in the Church of Gaiole. When Zayna arrived in the convertible Alvis TA, she looked like a princess. The atmosphere during the apéritif was magic, with the sun setting behind the rolling hills. The setting of the dinner left everybody wordless, the imperial tables, the string lights, the majestic walls of the castle as backdrop. We couldn’t find a better setting to enjoy an outdoor dinner under the stars.
