Maibritt and Tim’s wedding took place on a warm day of October. Contrary to what one might think, the beginning of autumn is a beautiful period for weddings. During their long weekend, they had the opportunity to enjoy the pool, complete with ice-cream cart, to organize a nice wine tasting and pizza party under the starts and to create a magic forest wedding in Tuscany.
The hamlet they choose is nestled in the hills between San Gimignano and Volterra. A wonderful venue with stunning views and a philosophy focused on sustainability. From the very first site inspection there was no doubt that the ceremony had to happen in the forest. It was simply perfect for their forest wedding in Tuscany, a mystic location for their nuptial vows. Guests were amazed by such a charming setting.
Afterwards the apéritif took place on a terrace with a stunning view. What the best backdrop while enjoying finger food, canapés, charcuterie, and cheese with prosecco and cocktails? The sunset is particularly beautiful at this venue, which is not far from the cost and it can therefore benefit of the orange, pinkish hues typical of the sea-sunset.
After some photos of couple and groups, we moved to the belvedere: a big garden in front of the elegant facade of the main building. A transparent tent hosted the dinner. Round tables surrounded the dance floor, while the top table, place in front of the stage, was the protagonist of the setup. The cake cutting was done in the middle of the dance floor: chocolate and a raspberry was definitely a sweet and delicious way to finish the dinner.
The party gave to everybody. Draft beer, cocktails, pizzas, sweets, and a band hired from London. They were definitely the right choice to entertain everybody all night long.
